Support the Local Community, by Shopping!

Sweet Potato’s is no stranger to giving back. With staple brands like Alchemy by Nina Kohler (Feeding America), Erin Gray (Cancer Research) and Fetch Eyewear (Animal Care and Rescue), it’s easy to make a feel-good purchase. We are proud to host events that promote Autism Awareness and Breast Cancer Research, in addition to supporting programs such as Toys for Tots. But we didn’t want to stop there...

This past January, Sweet Potato’s launched its Local Community Give-Back Program. The program empowers our customers to choose how 2% of the store’s profits are divided among three local charities over a six month stretch.

A display at the store is prominently located and highlights the three current charities, providing information on the work that they do. “We are passionate about fashion, but even more so about creating awareness. We want to give back and make a tangible difference.” describes Nina Kohler “Our staff is excited to facilitate the project, and our customers can take pride in giving back to our community.”

For the first six-month period, Sweet Potato’s was able to present checks totaling almost $5,000!
